We believe great architecture is achieved by balancing the three C’s:

• Context – Understanding what the site or house naturally wants to be. We consider orientation, sun path, and the character of surrounding buildings to ensure every project feels rooted in place.

• Content – Defining what the brief requires. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and aspirations, shaping spaces that function beautifully and flow intuitively.

• Concept – Capturing the spark that transforms a good design into great architecture — the creative idea that gives each project its unique identity.

Our Approach to Sustainability

Sustainability sits at the heart of everything we do. For us, modern sustainable design is more than using natural materials — it’s about designing intelligently from the start. We integrate passive design measures, optimise heating, cooling, and ventilation strategies, and refine every detail to deliver high levels of insulation while eliminating thermal bridges. The result is architecture that performs as beautifully as it looks.

Led by Experience

The practice is led by Philip Leighton, an ARB-registered architect with over 15 years’ experience delivering award-winning projects across the residential, student accommodation, education, leisure, high-rise, and retrofit sectors. Philip’s hands-on approach ensures every project — from concept to completion — receives the same level of care, creativity, and technical excellence.
